Our Mission Statement and Beliefs

Mission Statement:

Our purpose is to take the gospel of Christ to the nations, minister to those in need, be a conscience in our community and bring all into relationship with Jesus Christ.

Matthew 28:19-20  “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”

What We Believe:

In one true God who revealed Himself as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.  Deuteronomy 6:4 & John 1:1

That the Bible, Old and New Testaments, are the infallible, revealed word of God, and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.  John 17:17 & 2 Timothy 3:16

In the supernatural conception and virgin birth of Jesus Christ. His sinless life, atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father and future return to Earth to rule and reign forever.  John 1:1-3, 14 & Isaiah 7:14 & Matthew 1:22-23

In salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.  Romans 3:21-24 & 1 Peter 1:18-19 & Luke 6:46 & Matthew 7:21 &Romans 6:14 & 10:9-10 & 8:1-2 & Ephesians 2:8-9 & Galatians 6:1-2 &John 3:1-8 & Acts 16:30-31

In water baptism, by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ as testimony of death to sin and resurrection to new life. Observance of the Lord’s Supper acknowledging His broken body and shed blood as the New Covenant with man.  Matthew 28:19 & Acts 2:28 & Romans 6:4-5

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift that is offered to all believers who ask in faith, enabling believers to live holy and be witnesses for Christ. Acts 2:1-4 & Acts 10:44-48

The same gifts in the New Testament church are available to believers today. Ministry gifts of apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher are for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-12 & 1Corinthians 12:1-12

In the return of Christ, His reign for 1000 years on earth , the final judgment for those whose names are not found in the Book of Life, and a new heaven and new earth where righteousness dwells forever.  Daniel 12:2 & Matthew 25:46 & Acts 1:9-11 & Rev 20: 11-15 & Rev 21:1-5

We believe the true mark of a Christian is summed up in two commands.  Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength and your neighbor as yourself.   Matthew: 22:37-40 & John 13:34-35 & 1 John 2:7-11 & 3:10-11 & 4:7-8
